Attach any Arri PL mounted 35mm fixed focal length film lens to a high definition (HD) or standard definition (SD) 1/2” video camera to obtain on videotape, the three-dimensional quality of a 35mm film camera.  Optional mounts are available for Nikon, Panavision, Canon EF, FD, Contax and BNC-R lenses.
 
With this convergent device, a 1/2," B4 mount video camera can capture the same depth of field, focal length and angle of view as 35mm film.
 
Contrast is improved and colors have a more natural appearance.
 
How It Works
The PRO35 Digital projects the 16x22mm image produced by a 35mm lens onto a specially designed, eccentrically moving ground glass.  This image is then relayed to the 1/2 inch sensor of the electronic camera on a reduced scale while maintaining depth-of-focus and angle-of-view.

What is Supplied with the PRO35?
The PRO35 package is supplied with a PL lens mount, a lightweight support (#19186), power supply cable for lens connector Hirose 12-pin / Fischer 7-pin (#22612).  Lightweight support connection to quick lock plate is not included.

Lightweight Support System
The 15mm support bridge and rods are included (#19186) with the PRO35.  A holder for the 15mm rods is required on the camera side.  See “Related, See Also” tab.

NEW IMS SOLUTION FOR HEAVY NIKON LENSES.
The P+S Nikon-F professional lens mount is a positive lock mount of a new design that entirely solves the weakness of the original mount.

Even heavy lenses are held firmly in place and will perform reliably. The original springs have been replaced with bayonets locks that pull the lens on the mount regardless of their weight.

This mount is compatible with IMS (interchangeable mount system created by P+S Techink)

TROUBLE SHOOTING THE PRO35:
Green light with no movement of the Ground Glass stage: The green light indicates a correct voltage is applied and the motor is running at speed. In this case it is likely the belts are broken or are disengaged.

Red light with no movement of the Ground Glass stage: The red light indicates a voltage is applied but the motor is not running. Either the electronic or the motor is at fault.
