Designed specifically for lenses with a small diameter lens barrel, the FF-5HD design is compatible with the classic ARRI studio follow focus FF-4, so it can easily be equipped with a number of ARRI cine accessories for camera assistance.
A longer swing arm ensures better gear positioning with HD lenses and a lower gear ratio is well suited for the smaller diameter. This is especially advantageous when working with cine lenses with smaller diameter barrels or compressed focus scales. The Follow Focus FF-5HD body is designed long enough to accommodate video zoom lenses.
A right and left Focus Knob provide access to the lens from both camera sides. The Left Focus Knob can be used camera left or right. A longer focus knob (Focus Knob, right, item #381442) will work on either side.
