Anton Bauer Digital Dionic 160 battery is constructed with specialized lithium ion cells.

Anton Bauer Digital Dionic 160 battery is constructed with specialized lithium ion cells originally designed for high rate military applications.  Because of these low resistance cells, Dionic 160 can be used to power lighting loads and other accessories with a total output of up to 10 amps – a capability usually only achieved by using nickel based chemistries.  Dionic 160 weighs 30% less than a HyTRON 140, has 15% more capacity, and will run a typical camcorder for over 6 hours.

Dionic batteries are for the videographer with weight as the highest priority in selecting a battery. Dionic batteries are compatible with PowerChargers already in the field (may require software chip update) and the T series.

Multiple electronic safety circuits and the mechanical integrity of IMPAC case construction enable the design of a battery which safely employs lightweight cell chemistry for the rigors of Eng use.

The digital microprocessor features the ‘Fuel Computer’, RealTime LCD display, and InterActive viewfinder. Time is automatically indicated in 15 minute increments, calculated by the battery’s on board computer which compensates for load, battery capacity, and temperature.  Full to empty is indicated by fuel gauge bars.  These digital batteries communicate directly with the InterActive viewfinder of current professional camcorders.

Patented worldwide standard Gold Mount connector is compatible with all Anton Bauer camera mounts and accessories.  As with all Anton Bauer batteries, every InterActive 2000 battery is individually tested to assure optimum capacity, voltage and overall quality. A serialized computer performance graph as confirmation of this testing is enclosed.

Dionic batteries can only be used with PowerCharger and T series chargers only.  Please go to the Specification tab for nominal run times, max load, size, and weight data.
